Perfect Dark Zero is a first-person shooter game developed by Rare just for the Xbox 360. It’s a prequel to Perfect Dark, which was available on the Nintendo 64. There are more levels alquiler coches , weapons, and missions – it will surely exceed your expectations. What’s more there are 16 multiplayer arenas.

The cool thing about this game, it is still holds true to the original game. As one might have hoped, Joanna Dark is still star of the show. You still have most of the original weapons plus more. Some additions are pistols and sub-machine guns. Also available to you are rocket launchers, jetpacks, and a hovercraft.

As you may or may have not heard, some question the bad textures and character models. However, the levels have detailed backgrounds and scenes with a genuinely futuristic feel. The graphics in this game are amazing. The frame rate holds throughout the game, no matter how many characters are displayed on screen. That is what counts right?

Cheap game reviews gives this game an 9 out of 10. Packed with weapons and an interesting story line, this is one of those must haves in your cheap game video game collection. It is available for just under $20.00 new or even cheaper used by visiting eBay or Amazon. Buy it now and soon you can lead Joanna to becoming the perfect agent.

Talk about a cheap game! When Katamari Damacy came out on the PS2 back in 2004, it had the low retail price tag of $19.99. It was almost too cheap to be true! In fact it was so cheap that it was actually pretty hard to find at first.

Between its low starting price and the rumor that it was fun, this game was rolling off the shelves. Nowadays it is somewhat rare, so the price hasn’t really changed much. Still, for a bit under $20 used this qualifies as a cheap game today.

Katamari Damacy definitely had some characteristics of what anyone would call a cheap game. It had graphics from some previous generation of consoles, extremely basic controls, and a rather poorly edited storyline. I’m not so sure the storyline was edited at all. Moreover, the various game modes were all basically the same thing: roll a ball around to pick up stuff.

That’s not to say Katamari Damacy was a bad game. It was quite the opposite. Too many games these days (and back then) focus around flashy graphics and complex objectives to attract players. This was of no concern in Katamari Damacy. The whole point of the game was to take a very simple concept and make it ridiculously fun.

Who would have thought it possible that simply rolling around picking up pretty much any object in your environment to create a growing ball called a Katamari would be such a good time? Well it is!

The Katamari is controlled in a rather unique fashion by using both analog sticks on the controller. If you want to roll forward, press both sticks forward. Likewise if you want to roll sideways or backwards. If you want to turn, you adjust the sticks away from each other. For example, pointing one stick forward and the other backward makes you rotate while not moving in any direction. It’s not the easiest system to explain, but it’s extremely simple to understand when you try it.

In a typical level, you start out with a small Katamari. You roll around the environment and pick up objects that are smaller than your Katamari, and as a result your Katamari grows. As it grows, you pick up larger objects. In the beginning, you can only pick up very small things, like little bits of paper or small food. As you move through the levels, you get to pick up much larger things: people, cows, trees, cars, and so on.

If you just give this game a try, you’ll find yourself cracking up at the various weird things you can pick up. It’s surprisingly satisfying when you get to roll over and absorb your first living creature. The levels do get fairly difficult, and you’ll soon discover that the time limit really does matter. But whether you stick it out and build up the skills to beat the game so you can unlock the “country” mini game (where you get to pick up countries!), or you just play until it gets to hard like I sometimes do, you will surely find that Katamari Damacy gets you plenty of bang for the buck.

Cheap Game Reviews gives this game 8 out of 10

Here is a game you may not have heard of, its called “Scurge: Hive”. It has been credited to have similarities to Methoid but don’t fret, there is a lot more to this game. Scurge will surely not disappoint you, infact I would not be surprised if you decide this would be one of your favorite Nintendo DS or Gameboy games. Filled with adventures and a female character to keep you along.

This game has an interesting twist to its character name Jenosa Arma. She is infected with a biological weapon, a deadly virus called Scurge that sucks the life and brains out of its victims.

And that is just the start to what this game is all about. There are puzzles and enemies to kill. A timer that will surely keep you at the edge of your seat.

The graphics are good for a handheld, just don’t expect much details. The music could be better, but does it job to keep you going. The one major gripe is the lack of weaponry. Jenosa Arma is equipped with some basic stuff and they can be inefficient to fight the bosses and other enemies. You will need to keep Jenosa Arma health at a steady peace by attending disinfecting chambers (which also double as save points) or face death.

Cheap Game Reviews gives it a 7.5 out of 10. With a light playing role-playing game feel, this game has its charms. The cost of the game averages out to about $15.00 brand new, about $8.00-$10.00 cheaper used. Not bad, for a game that will surely keep you busy and wanting more from its developer – Orbital Media.

Got Golf?- True Swing Golf Game Review

True Swing Golf is exactly what I hoped to get out of a realistic golf simulation for the Nintendo DS. It has attractive graphics and easy game play, using the stylus for swing controls. And yet like any other good golf sim it becomes quite a challenge as you try to improve your skills and beat your score.
It’s not the most technologically advanced game, but True Swing Golf is fun.

It’s easy to pick up and do a quick round without getting frustrated by the controls. The quality of your swing is based on how quickly and accurately you can make a straight line with your stylus.

Some may prefer the 9-hole single card multi player, in which you and 1-3 friends can play a round even if only one of you owns the game. Personally I prefer to play alone, so championship mode is the most interesting mode for me.

In championship mode you are pitted against other golfers, but thankfully you don¢t have to watch them play. If you perform well, you get money to accessorize your golfer, and if you win you can even unlock six additional courses.

Cheap Game Reviews gives this game 7 out of 10. If you’re looking for a golf game that is not overproduced and is clearly designed for fun, and you want to save a little money in the process (easily had for under $10), True Swing Golf is the perfect game for you.
